The Lighted Boat Parade is a classic celebration. Organized by the iconic Schooner Wharf Bar, the parade will celebrate 23 years on December 14 and has always been one of the fun things to do in Key West during the holidays. Come out to the Historic Seaport or Mallory Square and watch as dozens of boats of all sizes, including sailboats, fishing boats, yachts and catamarans, parade through the harbor at night lit up with holiday lights and decorations. Christmas Light Trolley Tour
Christmas in Key West is different than any other place in the US. See for yourself by taking an evening tour aboard Old Town Trolley to check out local resident’s spin on holiday decorations. Think bright lights, lots of color and quirky scenes set on the lawns of beautiful pastel Victorian mansions and conch cottages. The Key West tours depart from Mallory Square at 6 pm December 14-15 and 20-24. Bring a thermos of hot cocoa and soak up the holiday cheer!
Sail with Santa for a Good Cause
If you’re in town on December 21, then set sail with Santa aboard Fury Water Adventures for their third annual charity sail to benefit Wesley House Family Services. Enjoy the sunset, holiday music, delicious appetizers and treats, hot cocoa, champagne, beer and wine, and of course, meet Santa! Enjoy this great sail for a good cause for a $20 donation. The trip departs at 5 p.m. and returns at 7 p.m.
