A full varied gourmet breakfast is served daily throughout the year, and can be enjoyed either in the dining area or the tropical gardens. The Gideon Lowe House at 409 William Street was built by the youngest son of one of Key West's earliest Bahamian settlers and is typical of the architecture of the island. The house, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, sits on a sleepy, shaded street within view of the Gulf harbor and is surrounded by a thirty block historic district of distinctive 19th century buildings. The oldest section of the house (c. 1845) retains numerous significant architectural details. The newer part of the house (c. 1866) reflects a typical Greek Revival floor plan, but with Victorian embellishments. The scuttles, verandas, shuttered windows and numerous doors show the Bahamian influence and are features well suited to the tropics. Today, ceiling fans whirl above rooms filled with antique furnishings, and congenial guests enjoy the cool porches and lush garden in its present role as one of the island's most unique inns. It's a perfect place for those who appreciate the graciousness of another time.

Fulfill your fantasies when staying in this room by sleeping in our high, King size, four poster bed with the added elegance of lace curtains flowing down the four sides. Your room also has its own entrance leading directly to the lower veranda. True romance!

DOLL HOUSE
As a guest in the Doll House, you will be delighted by our beautiful antique mahogany bed with a half canopy. Added to your room are lace curtains hanging down from the half canopy, an antique doll house and a light scattering of dolls throughout the room. You'll feel like a child again.

PERIWINKLE ROOM
If sitting, relaxing and enjoying the outdoors sounds good to you, then this is the room that you want. You could relax in your Queen size sleigh bed or go out your own private entrance and exit to a secluded area of the upper veranda. Great for watching the world go by.

TREE HOUSE
Staying in this room will give you the extra feature of being able to enter and exit directly into our lush, tropical garden. Your room contains a sitting area downstairs, and a loft featuring a Queen size bed.

KITTY CAT'S MEOW
Not big enough to be called Cat's Meow, this charming garden side room features Queen sized bed and the ever-famous Key West cat motif. We're sure you'll agree that this room is purr-fect for the budget minded vacationer.

This third floor room can help fulfill your thirst for the ocean by supplying you with a little touch of the nautical. And, for your sleeping comfort, we've given you a classic Queen sized iron bed.
