THE BANYAN RESORT



	The Banyan Resort is a lush, tranquil Caribbean estate tucked away in the heart of historic Old Town Key West. Your first step into The Banyan is like entering another world, one full of fragrance and color, beauty and luxury. Both modern and timeless, no place in Key West, or anywhere else, is like it. Located on Whitehead Street, The Banyan is surrounded by all the history and charm for which Key West is known. Duval Street, famous for its restaurants, pubs and shops, is only a short walk away, as is Mallory Square, the home of Key West's famous sunset celebration. Spend your day lounging in the jacuzzi, or in one of our heated spring fed pools; sip drinks at the Tiki Bar or wander amongst the 200 varieties of tropical flora that flourish within	the grounds. The Banyan's eight Victorian houses, five of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, are secluded beneath the canopies of the two magnificent centuries-old banyan trees for which the resort is named. Many of the 38 contemporary suites have French doors that open onto either a private patio or veranda overlooking the Banyan's gardens. All Suites have kitchen, private bathroom, private patio or balcony. A/C, color TV, phone and Bahama fans. Studios have eat-in area and will accommodate two. One bedroom has sleeper sofa to make accommodations for four. Two bedroom has private bath and dining area plus sleepers sofa, making accommodations for six persons.
